From now until March 7, we will be updating this page periodically when we have more details to share.

What is Zoom and why are we transitioning to it from Facebook for Sunday worship service?
Zoom is a computer application that allows people to connect and conduct meetings live, face-to-face over the internet.
Over the last 11 months many members within our English congregation have expressed a desire for more community and connection during this uncertain time of the Covid-19 pandemic. At the same time, a few selfless members of our congregation have been putting in many hours of work every week to produce our worship service videos.
Therefore, in an effort to provide both greater connection within our congregation and to alleviate the production workload involved with producing weekly video recordings, we are transitioning to Zoom for our Sunday worship services.
We understand that after nearly a year of having our Sunday worship service on Facebook this will be a bit of a change and we ask for your patience as we work through any difficulties that may arise.
When will we start using Zoom for our Sunday worship service?
Our first Sunday worship service conducted using Zoom will be on March 7, 2021, at 9:00 a.m. Our worship service will continue to be at its usual time on Sunday morning from 9:00 a.m. to approximately 10:00 a.m.
What do I need in order to access the Zoom worship service?
You will need a computer, laptop, or mobile device that is capable of running the Zoom application. You can download the latest version of Zoom at https://zoom.us/download.
What if I’ve never used Zoom before?
If you need technical assistance with accessing our worship service through Zoom, please contact usin the weeks prior to March 7 and we will be glad to assist you.
Will I still be able to view service virtually on Facebook?
One of the goals in using Zoom for our worship service is to provide a live worship environment where our entire congregation can worship together at the same time, much like our in-person worship services prior to the pandemic. Therefore, we are encouraging everyone to sign on and be a part of the Zoom worship service at 9:00 a.m. Sunday morning.
However, for those that are not able to attend service at that time, a recording of the sermon will be made available on Facebook after the conclusion of our worship service on Sundays.
Will there be an opportunity to meet with other people through Zoom before, during, or after service?
Yes! We are planning for the possibility of having pre-service prayer meetings and hospitality rooms for newcomers, as well as a Zoom Sonlit Terrace for our congregation to connect after service.
What if my internet is not working on Sunday morning?
If you are unable to access the internet, there will be a call-in phone number provided with the Zoom login details you will receive, so you will be able to listen to the audio portion of the Zoom service.

I’m excited about this! How can I help?
That’s great to hear! We can always use more help during this transition. Please contact us for more information, and of course, please be praying for this transition!
What if I have more questions?!
We understand that this will be a significant change for our congregation and many people will have additional questions. We would first ask you to have patience, as we are still in the process of preparing and finalizing details regarding how best to utilize some of the technology available through Zoom. We will be providing more details in the weeks to come. As we get closer to our official launch on March 7, if you have questions that have not been addressed, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you.
