Brief info
Prior to his current ministry, Adam practiced law as an attorney until he sensed God’s call to pastoral ministry and theological training. He holds a B.A degree in Political Science from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, a Juris Doctor degree from Hastings College of the Law, University of California, San Francisco, a Master of Divinity degree from The Master’s Seminary, and a Ph.D degree in Systematic Theology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.
Adam is committed to the building-up of God’s people through the clear and passionate teaching of God’s Word, especially in the local church. He has served as pastor in the Chicago area (Chinese Christian Fellowship Church in Wilmette, IL) and in southern California (Mandarin Baptist Church of Los Angeles and Riverside Mandarin Baptist Church). He has also served as interim pastor at Church on the Hill (formerly, First Baptist Church of Riverside, CA). Through the years, his teaching ministry has led him to speak at several church retreats and conferences as well as filled-in as pulpit supply for local churches.
Currently, Adam is professor of theology at California Baptist University and resides in Riverside, CA with his wonderful wife Wensley and their four sons: Aiden, Aldridge, Avery, and Allister.
