Re-opening Update
For Sunday, July 4 and following we have discontinued the use of Eventbrite registration for worship service and lifted social distancing requirements and capacity limits. If you haven’t already returned, we welcome you to come and join us for worship! Screening and check-in will still take place when you arrive.

Condolences
Our condolences to the family of Jaclyn & Buck Chng and Dorothy & San Chua. Jaclyn and Dorothy’s mother, See Mui Woon, went to be with the Lord on June 19, 2021.

Our condolences to Joe Ng’s family. His mother, Siu Ng, passed away at the age of 100 on June 15, 2021 in Hong Kong. May God comfort their family.

Our condolences to the family of Dr. Che-Yi Chang (Husband of Chia-Kun Chang), who went to be with the Lord on June 15, 2021.

Chalk Festival Announcement
Children’s Ministry will host a Family Chalk Festival on Saturday, July 17, 9:30-11:00am at the MBCLA First Street parking lot. The theme is “What we learned about God during the Pandemic.” Families with children 6th grade and younger can visit mbcla.org/children/ for free tickets.

Imprint Special Needs Sunday School
Looking for an opportunity to serve the church body on Sundays? Starting July 4th, Imprint Ministry will hold in-person special needs Sunday school class from 10:15-11:00am in MC-131. Volunteers are needed to help students engage with the activities and Bible lessons. Additionally, Worship Service helpers will be needed when there is a full return to ministries in September. Music Ministry Announcement
MBCLA Music Ministry Team has launched a new online platform to serve brothers and sisters and friends. This webpage provides information about our music ministries and activities. More importantly, it introduces useful blog articles, publications, and other online resources on Christian music and worship for us to learn and be equipped to serve and worship our Lord. You may go to our church website and click on “Music & Worship,” or visit and subscribe directly at music-worship.mbcla.org.

Meeting of Members
We have postponed our regular June Meeting of Members to August. More information will be provided next week, including agenda and meeting details.

Church Office Update
The church office resumes normal operations in July. Please note that the office will be open on Sunday mornings beginning July 4.
