Church Re-Opening FAQ

To find answers to frequently asked questions about our re-opening, please visit:

Office Update

The MBCLA Main Office will be open from 9am-3pm Monday-Saturday beginning on Monday, May 3. If you have an appointment, volunteer work, or plan to pick up materials, you are welcome to come during our office hours.

Healthcare Workers Survey

The church would like to reach out to our members who are healthcare workers with a survey. The goal of the survey is to find ways that the church can better care for healthcare workers and better care for the community around the church. If you are interested, please fill out the survey by May 10!

Staff Update

Pastor JuJu Huang will be out of the office from May 4 to June 13.

Spring Adult Sunday School

Our Spring quarter has begun with “Bridging the Gap,” by Brian Tung. The class covers selected topics in the theology of discipleship. Please contact Brian (briantung@mbcla.org) if you’re interested in joining.

C3 Building Update

We praise God for passing inspections last week and receiving the certificate of occupancy for the new building! This is a major milestone for the church and it was possible because of our members and our God. We pray that God will use it for the spiritual health of our church community and reaching the local community around us. After we complete final matters, we will move into the building and be able to use it.

Missions Committee

The missions committee plans to focus on local outreach and evangelistic opportunities this summer and promote training in lieu of overseas work. Let us partner together to reach our neighborhoods with the gospel!

Enduring Faith Conference

The Enduring Faith Bible Teaching Conference is designed to encourage and train volunteer Bible study teachers who work with any age group in the church. It is available fully online and is designed to be experienced with your church or ministry group. Video sessions are available on demand at the conference website now until May 31. For access, please contact Pastor Francis (francis.chung@mbcla.org) for the link and code.
